With a record of 7-1 Hustle Squad faced the undefeated MDM in the Championship game. The teams game play could not have been any more opposite of each other, with Hustle Squad focusing on a dominant presence down low and MDM loaded with premier guards and arguably the best scoring team in VA Hoop League history. It became a chess like game, how to stop MDM’s three point scoring and how to stop Hustle Squad down low. After 40 minutes of back and fourth battling, Hustle Squad came out on top.
