Charity Event, New Year Same Buckets

What an incredible night. New Year Same Buckets was bigger than basketball — it was about community, competition, and coming together for a purpose: supporting Shawn “The Animal” Sanders.

Huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this vision to life. @williamwoodsr planted the seed, and together with @lskizie, @4a.atm, and @rob_i77urray we worked to make it happen. Major appreciation to all members of HR Knights, Virginia Hoop League, Coops Hoops, and Off The Heezy Ent for putting in the time, energy, and effort behind the scenes and throughout the event. Shout out to @iknowpro @vablackvipers @jody_ryan_ @scottyflicks @breakfastbuckets757 @mvpiam , the referees and everyone else that donated their time and resources to the event. It truly took a team effort to make this successful.

Because of everyone involved — the players who laced up and competed, and the fans who showed up, donated, and supported — we raised a gross total of $1,056 for Shawn. 🙏🏽

The atmosphere was love. The competition was real. The purpose was bigger than all of us.
